Welcome to the Monarch School of New England
We are a day school that serves children ages 5 – 21, with significant physical, medical, developmental, behavioral and emotional disabilities. We are founded on the principles of ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) which are applied in the classrooms and across all supports, treatments and therapies.
OUR OWN CAROLYN DURFEE
On April 20, 2015, Carolyn ran the Boston Marathon (26.2 miles). She finished in 3 hours and 7 minutes and ranked 5th for women in New Hampshire! We at the school are very proud of her and as one of her colleagues recently stated, “Carolyn just became the most interesting woman at Monarch School!” Click to read: Carolyn Durfee, Superstar
APRIL TEAM BUILDING
What do these contraptions have in common? Our Education Technicians and Teacher Assistants got together to figure out how to wrap an egg using 1 yard of duck tape and 50 straws … and then drop it from a 10′ ladder without it breaking. Click HERE to see the results ~
JAKOB’S NIGHT AT THE BRUINS
Jakob is 19 years old and a student at the Monarch School of New England. He and his brothers had tickets to see the Bruins play the New Jersey Devils. To say he was excited about going is an understatement. The plan was to leave school in time to get to their seats for the evening’s game.
Until everything changed. Read the story: Jakob and the Bruins
Hayley is a student at the Monarch School of New England. Learn a little about her in this 30 second video:
