Each year in memory of MSNE’s founder, Carrie Foss, the school presents an outstanding staff member with the Carrie Foss Memorial Award. We’re thrilled to announce that Marie Melanson has been named the 2022 Carrie Foss Memorial Award honoree. Congratulations, Marie!

Annually, the Monarch School of New England recognizes dedicated staff members who’ve achieved a significant anniversary in years of service to the school. In addition to those staff members recognized previously, the following staff members were honored on the first day of school for their commitment and reaching a new milestone this year.

At the American Horticultural Therapy Association’s national conference, the gardens of the Monarch School of New England were recognized with the 2022 AHTA Therapeutic Garden Design Award.

Every year during the holidays, the employees at Jarvis Cutting Tools come together to make sure that our school and students have everything they need to learn and grow.

The Monarch School of New England was honored to be a nonprofit partner with The Fabulous Find, during the month of December.

The Alpaca Craft Barn (Nodrog Farms / Barrington, New Hampshire) held a raffle for this fabulous stuffed alpaca toy, to benefit the Monarch School of New England.

Many thanks to Waterstone Properties Group and The Ridge for putting on a drive-in movie series this past summer to benefit the Monarch School of New England!

As a result of a grant received from the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation’s Thomas W. Haas Fund, the Monarch School of New England will be able to replace and upgrade essential technology, assistive technology equipment and educational software.

The Monarch School of New England was honored to be named the 2021 Nonprofit of the Year by the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce. This award honors our dedicated staff’s hard work and commitment to providing unlimited possibilities for students with special needs.

Through an outpouring of community support, the Monarch School of New England earned enough votes to finish in 3rd place in the 2021 Red Sox Foundation IMPACT Awards, co-sponsored by the Ruderman Family Foundation!

Over the summer, the Monarch School of New England was able to complete necessary improvements on the accessible playground at the Foss Campus, thanks to a grant from the NH Charitable Foundation’s Madison Fund.

The New Hampshire Council for Youths with Chronic Conditions recognized Kate Sisneroz with a “Champion Award” for her hard work and dedication to children with chronic medical conditions during the COVID 19 pandemic.

The Monarch School of New England was recognized as the 2021 Nonprofit of the Year by The Falls Chamber of Commerce, which serves the communities of Somersworth, Rollinsford and The Berwicks.

The University of New England faculty and professional staff have voted and selected the Monarch School of New England for the Distinguished Clinical Educator Award.  This award is given to a person or facility, which demonstrates outstanding contributions to the physical therapy clinical education program.
