Make a Difference

It takes a supportive community, willing to share their time, talents and generosity, to put into action our vision to bring unlimited possibilities to students with special needs.

2026 Golf Tournament

The 2026 Golf Tournament at Rochester Country Club was a tremendous success, and we are so grateful to everyone who helped make the day so special.

From the moment golfers arrived on a picture-perfect spring morning, the energy throughout the course was incredible. With a sold-out field, great pace of play, and a full day of fun, food, and friendly competition, the tournament was one to remember.

Players enjoyed tournament contests, raffle prizes, silent auction packages, and plenty of opportunities to connect and celebrate in support of Monarch School of New England. This year’s raffle and silent auction brought exciting participation, spirited bidding wars, and tremendous generosity from our supporters.

One of the highlights of the day was seeing our incredible students involved throughout the tournament. From helping to set up the dining room, and assisting at contests, to greeting players around the course, their presence made the event especially meaningful and reminded everyone why this tournament matters.

We extend our sincere thanks to all of our golfers, team captains, sponsors, donors, volunteers, prize contributors, and supporters for helping make this year’s tournament such a success. Your generosity directly supports Monarch students and programs, and we could not do this without you.

A special thank you as well to the staff at Rochester Country Club for hosting another outstanding day, and to our tournament sponsor, Eastern Boats.

We are already looking forward to another great round of golf next year!

Connections that Count

The Connections that Count series, the collaborative initiative between the Monarch School of New England and Great Bay Services, continues to bring individuals of all abilities together through shared experiences and community connection.

As we wrap up another wonderful year of events together, we’re excited to celebrate with an Ice Cream Social 5:30-7:30pm at Lone Oak Ice Cream on Thursday, June 4th.

This event is open to Monarch School of New England students, alumni, staff, and their families, as well as Great Bay Services adult partners, staff, and their families. Anyone who has participated in a Connections that Count event over the past year is invited to stop by for a sweet treat, connect with friends, and pick up a Connections that Count t-shirt.

From Trucks & Tastes to the Winter Dance and Bowling fun, Connections that Count has continued to create meaningful opportunities for friendship, inclusion, and community — and we’re looking forward to ending the school year together on a fun and festive note before more events return this fall.

Those interested in attending or sponsoring future events are encouraged to reach out to amartineau@monarchschoolne.org for more information.

Monarch Purchases Jacobs Farm in Rochester

The school recently finalized the purchase of the adjacent Jacobs Farm property in Rochester. At this time, there are no immediate plans for how the land will be used or anticipated changes to our current programs. As always, the safety, well-being, and best educational interests of our students are our highest priority in any decision we make.

At this time, the Board of Directors and school leadership are listening, gathering ideas, and considering thoughtful ideas for the future. We value input from our community and welcome your suggestions. Please share your ideas with us through the form below.
